This month I’ve chosen Breathe as my Oil of the Month. There have been so many people with coughs, colds, flu, chest infections, and this is the oil that I recommend you have in your home medicine cabinet if you don’t already have it! In fact, my son was poorly last week after half term. We’d been away and lots of people on the trip got ill; he luckily didn’t come down with it until we returned home. It started with a sore throat, then a chesty cough. But by using Breathe and On Guard (another wonderful anti-microbial/viral blend), we manage to get rid of it in 4 days, when others had it a whole lot longer.
So what is Breathe? Breathe is a proprietary respiratory blend made from Laurel Leaf, Eucalyptus Leaf, Peppermint Plant, Melaleuca Leaf, Lemon Peel, Cardamom Seed, Ravintsara Leaf, and Ravensara Leaf essential oils. It’s smells a little bit like Vicks but nicer and without any nasty petroleum jelly which you really don’t want seeping through your skin into the bloodstream! There are so many uses for Breathe but if you think of it as the oil for opening the airways, you’ll know when to use it. It’s great to use to reduce seasonal threats but also to diffuse or apply topically to help with a restful night’s sleep. Here are a few of the times that you might want to use it:
If you have issues with respiratory system and would like to try a sample of this amazing oil, do get in touch and I can get one sent out to you. If you'd like to learn more about this wonderful essential oil, and many more, including how these 100% pure, therapeutic grade oils can be used as a completely natural home medicine cabinet, join one of my free Introduction to Essential Oils classes in Walton on Thames, or via online webinar.
